Exactly! It did, for us, involve my setting some limits on my mom she wasn't happy about but which she accepted knowing I had her best interest at heart. We had to limit her H2O to 32 oz a day due to kidney failure, not allow her to eat foods that provoked her GERD (which would cause her to aspirate and get pneumonia), and at some point she had to have someone with her at all times. She found 1,000 ways to complain, mostly in philosophical ways but sometimes she threw tantrums and often she was fun and playful about it.

. Mom had a melt down last night, needed to talk, argh. Managed to convince myself to not let this interfere with my sleep, so slept OK

. Seems everything you do to help one thing, something else says Whoa, what do you think you are doing. Working this afternoon, and getting caught up on paperwork, last thing I want to do is go back in after surgery and do paper work
