THR On My Feet Again

Are you going to get a pic of IT?
Do it, it can't be any worse than the bloody femoral heads we've viewed here :sick: :heehee:
Hopefully you're feeling relaxed about it all. I'll bet its quick and easy peasy.
Wishing you all the best!
@SE Florida

@SE Florida thanks SE Florida. I have started on a recumbent stationary bike each day for 5-12 minutes so far. Hope to do more. I am trying to do some exercise daily now that I am fully retired!!! feel so free to do what I want when I want.
I walk with the trekking poles too. I have only been swimming a couple times with a pull buoy to stabilize my legs in the last few weeks.
My hip is good but aches a bit in the groin when I over do it so I ice a lot and elevate once a day. Its still swells up a few times a day but is less. My knee is still bothersome but a lot better but still sore and recovery is slow. Still using a cane but not all the time. I am taking 2-4 tyenlol a day which really helps. If my knee would only stop hurting altogether it would be amazing and I can start appreciating my hip more.
Thanks for asking.

@lotusbuds, I totally forgot that you're retired now! That gives you plenty of time to get back to the pool and stationary bike whenever you feel up to it. Do you love being retired, no work stress? What a beautiful time of year to be home. Glad to hear that you're being careful with your recovery, it's all worth it!

TIMBER! They're cutting down the tree today :happydance:
Keep in touch, we'll be thinking of you and watching your thread.
Hope it all moves quickly for you.

Ok, no one will believe this. I drove around the surgery center for 20 minutes looking for a parking spot. People were lined up waiting and watching for an open spot. Never found one, was in tears, and my cell phone rings. And it rings at 10:44, one minute before my appt time. They said the doctor is behind and can I reschedule for noon. :bignono: So, dear hipsters you are all so kind and I appreciate all of the well wishes, but the tree is not coming down today. So. I'm not talking. No, not, nada. I'm just going to go back to work since Monday is always so crazy busy here, and try to get a smile on this face. :chinstroke:

Awe, sorry to hear that. I'm not sure why you did not take the noon, but I guess you went to work. Sounds like a busy hospital. So sorry for you....:console2:

Oh, no! It's too bad you couldn't wait an hour. What a bummer!
Let us know when you re-schedule.
Have a great rest of the day. :wave:

She called once more before I made it out of the parking lot and said 12:30. Ummm, no I couldn't sit there and wait considering I still hadn't found a parking space. Seriously, I had to wait behind a line of cars that was already sitting and waiting for a space. Picture parking on Christmas Eve at the mall.

That's crazy. It sounds like you'll need to get dropped at the door and have someone wait / park the car next time. Especially if it's always that congested. That's really unfortunate. :sad:
@SE Florida

Admit it...you are "growing attached to it":groan:
Super bad pun.
Not funny if it's you, either.
You know we love you and only intend to make light of things to try to lighten some of the tension.
We are likely failing poorly, but we aim to be supportive...
Plus, We are nosy.:scratch:
There's a backroom pool on closest guess!:)

We love you, @SE Florida :roseshwr:

Wishing you a good day! :yes:
It is going to be a hot time at the old food bank today! 96 degrees to be exact.
Hope you get a new appointment soon to get it off your mind and get on with the summer.
Stay encouraged...things are going to get Good!
You know we don't develop courage by being happy every day. We develop it by surviving difficult times and challenging adversity...
