@H2OPoloMom we are working on a 40*60 foot shop for my husband. Yesterday we were setting rebar and tying it together with steel ties so we can pour the concrete.

@hopefaith - I'm doing ok this morning. I got all the swelling out and my hamstrings are sore from bending over. The knees are great. Still working on the swelling and the energy.

When my brothers family moved the last time, they bought a handy man special. Before they started on the house, my brother built his shop. I think it's about the same size. Once it was complete, they moved in with my parents while they worked on the house itself. Priorities, lol.

This shop is twice the size of the house. He will not finish the house until the shop is done. We've been working 6 years on the property and paying for it all as we go.

Scars are looking good!
On the priorities front we had eight French friends due to visit for a weeks holiday with us in the new house we had just built in Scotland.
When I had invited them the year before the foundations and the septic tank were installed but nothing else so Helen was a bit nervous from the start; but a week before they were due to arrive the house was finished.
Okay, we had no carpets on the floors, no curtains at the windows and not much furniture but my fish pond was in excellent condition.
It all got done before they arrived; apart from the curtains on the Velux windows in the roof and we just never bothered with those anyway!

They dug holes in the newly leveled dirt work for my husbands shop and then pulled holes in all the plastic ($200 worth) that was spread under the metal bars. They've have been in doggy time out for 2 days.
