Left hip needs done, have to settle CRPS first

I regularly draw my foot as it gives an impression of how my mind relates to it. I basically don't draw my last two toes and the first two are huge. I also regularly draw the heel as being small. This reflects the numb areas and this in pain. What is interesting is that after doing ten wee mirror sessions on Tuesday I drew a normal foot.
The brain is a strange thing.
I used drawing a lot when working with young people it gives so much imformation as to their feelings.

Hi @Legin
A bit quieter than usual? Are you exhausted from the weeks activities or concentrating on other things? Hope you are okay though. May be too much cooking? Look after yourself.

Yup have had a friend of wiffff here, so that and working means busy, busy. And its good.

Slumps down in chair pooped. Good grief what a week, what with CAB training, buses, new job and visitors I perhaps have done a wee bit too much.
Another indication is that blisters have broken out on my leg again so later on its a call to the nurse. This is as i found out another symptom of the old #CRPS. Really was a tad fed up when I felt one burst but hey ho not a lot I can do about it.

@Legin Perhaps you need a rest day as it sounds like you had a very busy week. Did you enjoy the CAB training? And how is the job going? You have done a lot all at once - not surprised you are shattered and it will probably take a while for your body to get used to it all again.

Hiya snaperooo as ever my thread is lightened by your presence. The CAB training is really going well and we have our up and coming start to be going into the schools gets ever closer. We have another training session the morrow. We have to literally go thru a trial presentation right thru from start which also includes me doing the opening presentation of what CAB is about first, still not sure how I got talked into doing that bit. Alas tomorrow is only day off till the weekend from work so its a case of well I asked for it. Hope your meteoric recovery is going well pal.

@Legin ugh blisters! By now you've rested up (I HOPE!!!) and called the nurse, etc. I saw up there a ways that you drew a normal foot one day after mirror thingie. I'm trying to puzzle out how this works. Do you close your eyes and draw? It just seems to me that I would draw an awkward outline of a foot no matter what!

Hmmmmmmm, I wonnnnnder why you got volunteered for the opening CAB presentation...hmmm... could it be that you can talk the hind leg off a donkey? ;)

Chortle I just checked where that phrase comes from, main theme seems to be donkey never sits so talk so much its back legs give up and it sits. So zaubs I will remember that next time I speak to a donkey.
#CRPS Stuff been to see nurse, got told off for not going sooner but have Mepilex dressings on.
She also put elasticated tube net stuff. Teeth gritting stuff going over the foot.

Glad your training is going well and you do sound as if you are really enjoying it - in spite of your other problems. Good luck with your presentation which I am sure will go well. It's a big ask but you'll be brilliant at it.
Can you use Compeed on your blisters? Brilliant stuff and works like magic with the soreness.

Good luck @Legin - you know you have the "person skills" so just go for it!

@Legin thanks for doing that research! I never knew where that saying came from!
Glad you've got mepilex-- my m-i-l had that for some foot ulcers, and it helped tremendously with dressing changes. My mom had that elastic fishnet stocking stuff holding her mastectomy dressing in place and had a nasty itchy reaction to it. Keep an eye out!
Have fun with your client couple! :)

Ouch sorry to read about the blisters. I remember you having that before. I think you're so brave. I admire how you get on with life despite the bad pain you're in. Please put some time aside for yourself. Please take care of you too XX

Busy couple of days. Day off yesterday, went to Perth for CAB training. Picked up extra shifts at work today. Blisters are multiplying hmmm.

Legin THR Sep 14

Is elevating indicated to drain fluid from blisters? It's nice that they can multiply, when will you teach them long division?
Seriously, I know you will be happy about the extra shifts, but I'm with Nana Moon, make sure you have time to care for your physical needs too!!!

@Legin you are doing too much. Bossy woman that I am blisters are not a good sign and are not going to get better with more work. You have a bunch of people to fuss at you so I will stop for now. I enjoy your wit so get better.

@Legin...... More blisters......more shifts.....CAB........cleaning house......cooking meals .........2 mile walks...... = ODIC??????? XX

I don't want to see you hurt yourself more and cause yourself more problems. Seriously. Not nagging you honestly but I am very concerned about you XX

Hi @Legin - can't leave you alone for a minute can we?! Oh boy do we nag. Seriously do look after yourself. In the old days i.e. before you were born - in the 1950's didn't people use meths to harden their skin to stop it blistering? Meths as in methylated spirits not as in crystal. Take care!

I used the bike but silly foot and leg was like a dead log so walked back. Tomorrow back to nurse for blisters. To check them not get more
