It's getting close! Just over three weeks! My pre-op stuff is starting to be scheduled, I had a physical and I have a pre-hab on the calendar too. My hospital has a nice online slide show which is a preview of the pre-op class I have to take, they show you every room you will visit from sign-in through to your own room, so you'll have seen it all before. It's kind of intimidating as I've never been in the hospital before for anything at all, nor had general anesthesia other than for dental work when I was young. I'm having an anterior incision so I am hoping I will be like others on here who have said they left the hospital using only a cane and were cleared to drive in three weeks... My 12-year-old will look out for me while I need it, but I hope I won't need too much... I am having sneaking feelings of looking forward to a couple of days in the hospital where no one will be expecting anything from me in the way of cooking, cleaning, or general fetching and carrying, I can just rest and read books and do whatever the nurses tell me.
