horsecrazy. Ooppsss...sorry! Just saw your other questions! I had a spinal and was terrified I'd wake up or feel/hear something. They put an IV in my arm with some sedative to make me groggy and I fell asleep as they wheeled me into the OR. I remember being in an elevator heading to the OR and next thing I was in recovery. Never even saw the OR or had an idea they even did the spinal!! It was GREAT! No headache or nausea afterwards and i was wide awake and totally coherent and happy! My diagnosis was advanced OA and severe hip dislocation.

I've got a walker, cane, crutches, potty that is "high enough", something to pull my socks on, comfy chairs in place....but you might know I tossed out my grabber about a year ago (I had one from the initial break I got from a bad accident that broke my femur and hip 7 years ago--my joint has been going down hill since then due to labrum tear). So, I'm really excited not to have constant pain and my husband says it will be such a relief to see me walk without a big limp
. All the best, Bev
