Hi
@PegGar16,
I have done some phone-calls to my friends/relatives that prefer no videos so at least we keep in contact but my granddaughter and I do facetime. I would have gone nuts if I hadn't had my laptop here.

The operation is on the 22nd March so its coming around quickly now. I don''t know if it was to keep my spirits up or not but my doctor seems much more enthusiastic now and said after its finished and they get me up and running, I wont look back. He said I'll have my wings on and be flying away ... Gosh I hope thats true.
Definitely there will be a lot of work ahead over the next year but I intend giving it my all. Hubby puts his foot in his mouth sometimes

and got me a bit upset when he made a negative remark after I said I cant wait to go on a holiday when they open the borders again and he replied "don't be so stupid, how can you do that, you might be in a wheelchair the rest of your life, you cant even walk...."
Well that made me feel on a downer for a few hours until thankfully I watched the Bohemian Rhapsody movie and alongside the motivating his songs I quickly changed my mind because I realised that being in a wheelchair is far better than being dead like poor Freddy!
Peg I am so glad I am able to talk with someone who went to hell and back from all these complications and by simply telling me how much better you are now, it pushes me forward. I will ask around for a personal trainer after I get out of here and work on bending this knee once the new hinge is in there. All my muscles are wasted too so they will also need help - pitty my belly didnt disappear as well!!!

Thanks for the tip. I was thinking hydrotherapy is always a something good to head for but a trainer would know what I need.
