OK, been to PT today (first appointment) happy with progress, has suggested I concentrate on leg extensions to the rear as range of movement could be better, apart from that and if I have any concerns that's my Physio over!
Next step, off to Doctors for the Sick Note and see if he is happy to sign me off for light duties at work.
Physio said OK to drive at the 6 week mark, so look out next Tuesday!!! :happydance:

Slow and steady Timby666, you will most likely feel the effects of energy drain.. I am keen to see how you go :)

Well people its been 6 months since the Corin Mini Hip Replacement and what a huge difference to life this makes.
I have had an almost perfect recovery (sorry to post this for all those who are struggling) with only two visits to the physio, had my first check up post op and my surgeon was very pleased with the results, no limp, no extended gate, almost back to a full range of movement from the joint and the scar is fading fast (thankfully I have some good images to remind myself of the trauma).
My message to any one reading this is to remain positive, rely on friends and family at first but try to help yourself with the recovery process, you will know when you are doing too much.
Thats it for now, another check up in 6 months (surgeons request not NHS) and off I go.........
