Does this mean you won't be getting your scans or reports until you see your Dr. on Nov 2?? Seems like alot of time wasted, why can't they just send them to you??
 
Yes I won't get the results till then they are sending me the scan but on a disc and not with the full report so I won't be able to tell what's on it,I am sending it to Dr Maale as soon as I get it.

Thanks, that is good that you will get the scan sooner. This waiting game you are having to play is getting old and i feel so bad for you. Want you to be able to get some relief soon.

I've posted a few pictures to show you guys something my knee seems to have changed overnight it's developed to areas of new swelling on the inner part of my knee and then a small area on the outer part and there is an area of redness which is hard to make out on the picture but the middle picture is trying to show this if you can see it around my moles.
 
Oh Natalie, that looks painful. I think you should get in touch with the surgeon and tell him what's happening. But what are those brown spots like moles all over your knee?
 
He's in out if the country though do you think I should ask the secretary to tell the registrar?
Do you think it looks abnormal?
They are moles Jo most of them are newish too.
 
Natalie, I think you should do anything you can to be see by someone since there are changes in your condition. Just my opinion.....

I rang this morning and they said they don't think there is anything more They can do.
There advice was to keep an eye on my temperature,swelling draw line round redness and if gets bigger go to the emergencey room.I was awake till 530am sweating and in pain I'm going to try and get a few hours rest this morning then see how it is.

Seems my body wants to sleep but my mind won't let it :( :(

My temp is 37.8 so not bad my skin is itching so much from the morphine!!

I'm worried about Scott I think he's worrying more than he is letting on I told him to go off and see his family today he's been off for a week now he must be sick of the sight of me!!
 
Oh Nat. Please let us know what happens. Hopefully they will have access to your medical records.

Well I saw a lovely doctor he doesn't think it's infected and replacement is ok,there is a pocket of fluid which is where he thinks my pain is coming from and he seemed to think the SC had maybe been knocked about when I fell and that has aggregated it and caused the swelling and the pain.
He upped my patches and made me put them on there and then and wants me to change them in 48 hours instead of 72 and take 15mls of Oramorph every 2 hours instead of 10ml.He wants me to have complete bedrest and elevate it for at least 3 days and lots of ice for swelling and heat for pain.
I am in so much pain :( :(
 
The pain meds will kick in hopefully very soon. Did they xray your knee? Please tell us yes. Did they have you get a blood test to check for infection?
 
. I am not a medical professional so I dont think I should comment. Not leaving you Nat..just a bit confused after all that you have been through.

We are all friends with Sonja, lover her dearly, but you really don't have to follow her examples. LOL. Glad to hear you went to ER and had it looked at. Please follow orders and I hope you feel better soon.
 
Lol I know the doctor did say today it's hard when you're struggling around on crutches not to fall over he said and a small fall is a huge fall for someone with existing problems!
