MUA It's been a long time.....

Took a few pics to show you how swollen me knee is.

|You can see on the picture of my bad knee alone that there is a red mark next to the wider part of my scar that is the redness that has been there for 2 weeks now.

The main swelling is around that area too and if you can see from the picture there is like a bump of swelling this is where all my pain is.

I am so sorry you are in so much pain! Fentanyl was given to me as a patch when I was in rehab and it literally put me to sleep!:th_heehee:

That's one way of getting out of exercises! LOL Seriously though, about 10 months after my knee replacement, mine starting popping out and I started falling! I can feel how unstable it is and it is chipping the tibia. I also have the patella popping out and moving around wherever it pleases causing immense pain. Is that a problem for you also or is it just the implant. I want them to find a solution for you and get on the ball to get you out of pain!


Your knee and mine look a lot alike in the picture. I need to get my camera and take a picture and post this lovely knee!:rolleyespink:

Yes Wrightington Jo Mr Porter did the surgery I see him 4th April.

Nope they don't put me to sleep I wish they did though!My Patella is ok it's just the implant I think when I get out of bed it's almost like I take my leg and it takes a few seconds for my knee to come wiih it and that is so painful :(
I'd love to see a pic of your knee too hope you're ok xx

Well my GP forgot about me!You have to give them till 3 pm to make a home visit so I've sat here patiently all day knowing how busy they are and how many more people are sicker than me and I've just rang to see if he is still coming and he's left for the day!
They said they will see if anyone else in the practice can help me if not it will be tomorrow!

Please don't be too nice about this Natalie. Your need is just as great as someone else. Give them a call and confirm when someone will be there tomorrow for sure!

Ive just rang back and the receptionist sighed when she heard it was me!So I got angry and said I'm sorry you don't want to hear me again but I've waited all weekend for Monday to come round to see my GP and then he didn't come so please can you assure me someone will come tomorrow.

She said I can only make a request.

I will ring in the morning again

If your GP is sick of trying to find an answer then he is obligated to refer you to someone who can take over your care. Ask him outright if he needs to do this. It's just not right for him to ignore you!
