Hey rich, glad you got the meds straightened out. I was going to point out that you do a lot of worrying before things happen and so far per your posts everything has worked out (example being getting the meds). My father used to tell me that I should not waste energy on trying to predict the outcome of things. Wait to things happen and then you'll have the energy to deal with them. Now I see you struggle with some anxiety issues. I am so sorry for that as I am sure it makes things much more difficult. Don't want to get too personal, but since you mentioned it, I just want to validate what you shared. I am extra glad you found this site so you can check things out to help with worrying.
As far as my experience with PT. I have had in hm PT 2X a week and now at 6 wks will be going to outside PT. i started as soon as i got home. The first 4 wks were mostly getting range of motion back, like laying on my back and moving my leg out to the side, sliding my leg up bending my knee etc. it was not till 4 wks that I started things that involved actual strength, like the leg lifts and things. That is just my experience and I know everyone's is different.
Hang in there guy, soon this will all be in your rear view mirror. I'm pulling for you -Cathy
