That does work! As long as my surgical knee was achy and painful it kept me from thinking about or noticing what my left yet-to-be-done knee was up to. As the aches and pains have dissipated from my right knee the pain in the left knee has become far more noticeable. Since I have confirmed your prognosis you owe me half your fee!

Yes, my knee has bee affected by the weather for years. The wind is howling right now, high fire warning.
Supposed to be calmer tomorrow :tada:.
To tag me, it is pumpkln with an l. Site would not let me use pumpkin

Then why does it show your picture to tag when I type just Pumpkin? So it's pumpkin1?

@hopefaith , it is pumpkln, the i is an l, you have it right.

Weather has been affecting my knee since 2000, after my first surgery. @Phil75070
It also flares up my tendon injuries from 2011.
I still have a lot of inflammation, I think that is what flares with weather.
Research says it is a wives tale, but I respectfully disagree.

@Pumpkln What kind of weather causes flareups for you? Rainy? Cold? Humid? Hot?

I have some inflammation issues as well from osteoarthritis so I would like to learn from you. Thank you.

So true @Phil75070 - I find that the knee that is to be operated on in a couple of weeks bugs me more than my TKR knee at times. If I am elevating, my TKR knee is more painful. When walking, my other knee bugs me more. Right now I have spasms just under the scar in the middle of the knee. I am sure it is nerves but it sure feels weird.

@hopefaith - all the best at your son's wedding tomorrow. I hope you r knee is good to you.

@Pumpkln - the damp weather bugs my knees but that is the only weather that I notice. Hope you ar

Thanks for the well wishes about my son's wedding. I woke up and had my melt down so maybe I'll make it through the ceremony without (I doubt it though). He and I have always been very close and weathered a lot of storms years ago together.
Weather, barometer very much affect my knees. Both right now.
Just a side note, doing both knees was not a consideration for me. Maybe someday I will do the other, don't know. My life would have to be in a very different place.
I hope you all have a good day. (That saying sounds so trite). I really think of you all a lot and this forum means so much to me. You are all very caring people.

Hi @hopefaith - I was thinking of you today and wondered how the wedding went. How did your knee hold out?
Hope it was a beautiful day for everyone.

Congratulations on your 20 seconds of little pain! Before you know it that will turn into 20 minutes and beyond!

Hope the wedding went well. Let us know how it went, and how are you doing?

Thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers! I do so hope the wedding was beautiful and you were not in too much pain to enjoy it! We are all waiting for you to tell us about it when you are ready!

Miss you!:old: :martini:

So here I am awake at 3:00a.m. So I will tell you about the wedding. My son told me it was in Fort Collins. He failed to,tell me it was in way north Fort Collins, so my friend and I thought we had plenty of time We didn't. And we didn't have good directions. Soooo we scooted in right under the wire. It was a very small ceremony. (I keep losing part of my post). I am half asleep. My DIL's dress (I have written this 3 times now) was beautiful....so elegant. She is tiny tiny. She looked stunning. Her dress was white , very fitted (remember she is 5 ft. nothing and a size 0. (She was a preemie born at 28 weeks) with cap sleeves. I wish I could describe it better. She wore a pearl and slightly blingy necklace. Her hair was up and she had an orange small rose in her hair that matched her bouquet of bright orange roses and blue delphinium. It was such a lovely contrast against her white dress. After we went to a quaint little old house/restaurant for our meal and cake. I am falling asleep and don't want lose this. Wil write more later.
