First picture is about a week post op. Second picture is after stitches were removed, the small patch of bruising off to bottom left is all I ever had. Third pic is 5 weeks post op.

Here is my scar from the 1st stage of my 2 stage revision where my hip replacement was removed due to infection. He has left the stitches with adequate spacing for drainage. It's not pretty but I know when the real hip goes in he'll do beautiful internal stitches like before.

Not the best picture (my Mom is no David Bailey!), but, for those looking carefully, you'll see I've got an infection :(it's not too bad, just a small section in the middle. So I'm on antibiotics for a few days & then I've got to go back to see the nurse again!
