THR Hawai'i Healing Hipster

Your PT will be walking to the bathroom. That's it, my dear AgilityDog.
It's going to be fine...get home and settled.:friends:

And trust me @AgilityDog, getting settled and doing whatever puttering around you feel you must do will wear you out. I am now settled in, or as close as I can be. Trying to find comfortable position. Will be taking a pain pill, one Percocet 5-325and Tylenol, will increase if needed. Doc also prescribed short course of Celebrex and xarelto.

:hi:
We need a AD report....
Hope the absence just means you're resting comfortably.
Very sorry to read you got into some real pain.
Hoping you slept well last night. Give us a shout out when you're feeling up to it.
Wishing you a good day! :loveshwr:
@AgilityDog

@AgilityDog

So sorry to read about rough recovery. Hoping things went better once you got home and all tucked in snuggly.

You are your best advocate. Don’t be afraid of hurting someone’s feelings if you’re not up to having therapy or whatever. Trust your body and instincts.

Feel better!!

:shrug:You missed me!!! But perfectly understandable...all temporary...a well from now things will settle down. Try not to get anxious, I'm sending super powered healing Mojo your way.:loveshwr::console2:

Messed up sleep is the pits @AgilityDog . Sorry the pain level is so high. Hope the medicine change helps with that. Can’t imagine fibromyalgia on top of surgery pain. I have read of several folks on here who have it also.

Hope you get some relief.

Poor Agility Dog....so sorry you're uncomfortable. Surgery pain is enough in itself without
Fibromyalgia issues. I hope you get this managed soon so you can rest peacefully.
Wishing a comfortable evening for you!
@AgilityDog

Some of my first posts were incomprehensible (still are sometimes) I coined the phrase DAC...darned auto correct!
Know that we have all been where you are in some form...and your body will adjust to all that trauma. You just need to stay medicated and try to go with the flow as best you can for these next days.
You'RE going to be fine...
:angel:

Hi, @AgilityDog, I've been following your progress from before the surgery to now; I'm so hoping that the pain has become more manageable and that you're starting to be able to relax into being on the other side. Wishing you well.

Hi @AgilityDog
Since you're quite a bit behind us time wise.....tell us about your night.
Hoping you got some nice pain free sleep.....at least a little.
Wishing you a comfy peaceful day.....post when you're able.

Glad you have a decrease in pain @Agility dog. Keep taking meds on schedule. This is very important in early days. While you may not like the side effects,Newell managed pain aides the healing processs.

I believe I am done with activity for the day. I got my breakfast. Rested. Got dressed. Cleaned litter box. Got snack. Back to rest. Will let son fix my soup for lunch. He is picking up a few things for me from store and doing load of laundry. I shall supervise, in between naps.

Great news @AgilityDog I'm happy to hear there's improvement!
Get loads of rest / sleep, meds on schedule, ice and you'll be rockin and rollin in no time :happyfeet:
Hope today is good!

That bathroom is a looooong way. Keep on drinking....and know we are thinking of you:roseshwr:
