Bilateral THR Grateful Double Hippy

[Bonesmart.org] Grateful Double Hippy

Most don't remember...and many went on to lose their lives in reaction to this awful event. There are few left from this generation...brave they were.
I honor them today.

I just watched a documentary on how survivors of the Arizona can join there brothers on board for eternity. I think it was a PPS show. Well worth watching and very powerful. God bless our veterans.

You're right...."People feeding people" as you mentioned on Mamma T's thread.
You're a big part of that @Mojo333. I understand you're tired and your legs are achey. Thankfully it's Friday.
You've made it through another week of providing a basic need that many of us just take for granted.
You'll be blessed for it....

Have a happy restful weekend. You are still just well short of a year away from what was two major surgeries. You are still healing- don’t forget that in your desire to help others and get back into life. We are in for the long haul marathon, not a sprint!

Hi @Mojo333 I agree that we can still over do things still even at 6 and 7 months out. Sometimes we bite off more than we can chew and push on. I know I did on my husband's birthday in November and paid for 2 days. Hang in there with your Dad, I'm sure it will come out right eventually. Have you tried having a real heart to heart with him? Maybe he could be involved in a lesser capacity? It's a very tough situation and I hope a solution can be reached you're both happy enough with. I wish you well. Cheryl

:treestar: just came by to say I love you. I have my tree up and made it to church and two stores. It's snowy and cold here. Hope you and your family are RELAXING

Hey Cheryl. Yep, my legs feel this stupid cold now too! I do think I will end up having a heart to heart with Dad at some point. He's not what you'd call a warm fuzzy guy.
Old school dad. Let mom see about the kids...read the paper and hug them good night....he's retired Air Force and retired letter carrier.
He seems to get obsessive compulsive in a way I haven't seen before and also seems much more impressionable. I think he's about to buy a $90,000 motor home some guy is going to give him "a deal" on and sometimes my hubby has to drive him to doctor 30 miles away.
He is adamant that he doesn't need his children to tell him what he needs to do.
Just feel bad that he has always been very conservative and pragmatic and now I see mentally he gets confused and frustrated.
It'll work itself out hopefully.
Hope your hubby is on the mend...
Driving to Beaufort SC to see mom today...about 2 hours from me.
Kind of dreading the long sit in the car but don't get much opportunity to get that way, so....
Hope your Sunday is blessed.

Have a good visit with mom. Don’t be afraid to pull over and stretch the legs.

Thanks MammaT. It's 30 degrees outside and I'm going to leave in an hour so we can brunch.
I swear I don't have any warm clothes...yes, I know...Amazon prime.
We get a whole two months of winter, mild at that...so don't know what I'm complaining about.
Don't like winter, don't like constricting clothing, don't like staying inside....I'm a summer baby.
You have a peaceful Sunday!

Baggy sweatshirt with a tee shirt underneath does wonders.

Hope you had a good time with mom today, Mojo...
Best wishes for a good week in the squishy new shoes.
Hope they serve you well :happyfeet:
