Just reading back on your thread as I’ve been off the forum for a bit. Sorry about issues with your dad but it sounds like you are a very understanding daughter and I know you will find the right way to handle everything. I imagine he mostly just needs to feel useful, needed and appreciated which can be tough since he isn’t able to do much and then he forgets some. Anyhow, I know you will do the right thing for him. He is truly blessed to have such a fantastic daughter!
Also sorry to read about your fall. I can imagine all the crazy things that crossed your mind as you were falling! Ouch! You must be very sore so take it as easy as you can to let those bruises heal. Probably a bit of ice might help when you find time to sit. You are definitely NOT whiney, that is for sure.
Thank you for all you do at the food bank. That is such a wonderful service. We have one in our town and apparently it is much needed as there are many low income farm workers, etc. in this area.
Stay warm and enjoy this Christmas season. Dress in layers to stay warm. It was minus 2 here this morning and that feels cold! Even the dog couldn’t stay out long as she started limping when her feet soon got cold. Luckily the snow has stopped for today and the sun is out for the first time in nearly a week. If I don’t post again, have a very Merry Christmas and no more falling :tree lights::snows:
