Thank you so much everyone. Sorry i haven't posted. Had to be on my feet more than I should getting ready for the storm and that made me painful. It turns out that it wasn't necessary as a couple of hours before the storm was supposed to hit us, it jogged away and we missed the worst of it. Some heavy wind and rain but no damage and we did not evacuate. I just didn't feel much like going to my computer.
Anyway, here we are 2 weeks minus 1 day and I am seeing improvement, but still behind in recovery from the first knee. I still cannot lift my leg but I can feel that it is getting closer. My 2 week followup was canceled because of the storm, so I go this coming Friday. I saw my PT twice this past week. She is very good, gentle, and all she has been doing is helping me with knee presses and foot slides. I'm still having to use my cane in the house to take some weight off the new knee. I had to go shopping yesterday but was able to use the scooter so not too bad. My husband did all the "work".
All in all, I'm very tired due to this week's storm, shopping, and the additional discomfort and pain I've been feeling, but feeling more upbeat because I do see some improvement in the last day or two. I just went back and read the beginning of this thread to compare my progress and I am probably a week behind for this knee.
Hopefully all the other Floridians, Georgians, North and South Carolinians and Virginians here managed to escape any damage during the hurricane.
