@Mojo333, @SE Florida, @ceezee and @Bfam85 thanks so much for the kind thoughts. Did a few things around the house earlier and just kind of chilling now until time to cook dinner. Hubby went out for a while, happy he's taking a break as he's been sticking pretty close to home the last couple of weeks. Trying to tell him that hopefully after the first week or so he won't have to sit here with me constantly.

8:45 check in tomorrow and believe surgery to be about 10:30. Woohoo!

She's about 6 hrs behind you timewise @bumblebee2
Her surgery was scheduled for 10:30 a.m so if all is on schedule, she's most likely only about 2 - 2 1/2 hrs out of surgery. Maybe we'll get lucky and get a from her this afternoon.

Hi all, sorry so late checking in. Surgery went well from what Doc told the hubby. Been really strange day, will explain more later. They have me sitting in one of their recliners, butt is sore and really want to get back in bed. They aren't exactly real responsive in a timely manner. Oh and went to the bathroom once, not much but some. Pain is somewhat ok, incision seems to be a bear. At least when I got up for bathroom, was pulling. Thanks all, will be back tomorrow unless I can't sleep tonight.

I'm happy to see that surgery is finally behind you.
I hope they let you lay down soon if you're uncomfortable. With any luck they step up their game so you get the attention you need in a timely manner.
