THR Double hippy happy<

Two weeks out and no mutinies reported as Sarah keeps her ship in shape!?
Hope today is a Good Day.

No mutinies as yet mojo. Boredom has well and truly set in. There's only so much tv a girl can watch hehehe.
Pain is down to a bare minimum, thigh and quads feel much better.

Have a great day all!

Boredom does set in.
Although it's hard to imagine there's ever a dull moment in your life with all the testosterone
in the house, lol.
Best news is your pain is at a minimum. That's wonderful.
I hope you're having a good day so far. Wishing you a great week too!
@SarahUK

Oh it does.
Trouble is, I feel like I can do more than I'm meant to but I know that I have to take it easy for a while.
Slow and steady wins the race.

Have a great week!!

Hope all is well on the homefront?
When do you go back to the OS?
How's your walking doing?

Hope today is a Good Day..:loveshwr:

All is well on the homefront
Waiting on appointment to go see him, should be near the end of the month hopefully.
Still using 2 crutches as per his instructions, 2 more weeks and then I can go to one.

Have a great day!

Boring old first weeks of recovery will soon pay off in a big way.
You must be thankful everyday to have both surgeries behind you now.
Let the good times begin! :happydance::chuckmarch: :happyfeet::catdance:
Well not quite yet...but soon enough.
I'm happy for you, Sarah
@SarahUK

Apparently so is the hubby. He asked me this morning if I was going to cook food, the stare I gave him.... Yes I'll cook, when I'm good and ready. He is so impatient hehe. I think it's because I look so much better than the last time.
Happy that both are behind me, it's been a painful year of waiting but all done and dusted.
I'll soon be walking at my usual fast pace given time.

Have a great day!!

I'm sat on the sofa with my skirt hitched up around one side, dressing came off and I'm now letting it air dry. Weeping stopped for the most part so progress there. The other half said do some physio, I promptly rattled off the BS Big Tip...he shut up then hehe. I will do what I want, when I want within reason. He means well, but pushing me isn't the way to go....

Have a great day all!!

I'm guessing you are getting some walking in..so for two weeks or you are doing what you oughta!
This ain't your first rodeo!

Hope your day is sweet, Sarah!

Something you might be interested in...
In the past we had the policy of telling people not to use anything on their wound prior to it completely healing up. And even then we would tell them that massaging things into the wound in the hopes healing would progress better wasn't necessary.

However, that has changed since we became aware of hypochlorous solution (HOCL)....and specifically a hypochlorous product called ACTIVE Scar Shield. I encourage you to click on the link in the blue NavBar and read our newest educational section on Wound Care. In it you will see references to using HypoChlorous Solution as soon as possible on any wound as it is a strong antibacterial solution. In addition, the sooner a person is able to use it, the sooner the product can start working to improve the appearance of a scar.

We have also created a Hypochlorous Fast Facts sheet that is available via either of these links on the website:

Hypochlorous Fast Facts

ACTIVE Scar Shield is available only through BoneSmart via these links:

We have some members testing this product now and in the coming months will be talking about how it has helped them heal.

If you have concerns, print out the Fast Facts sheet and discuss it with your doctor (who may very well have no clue about hypochlorous solution!).

Yahoo! The weeping wound is history.
I'm happy you're taking a sensible approach to recovery. Big payoff coming.
I hope both today and your weekend are wonderful!
@SarahUK

Thanks mojo. I have an appointment with the doc this month, I'll take a copy of that with me and see what she says. Although in the past, I've never used anything on scars and I have a fair few.

I haven't either..
But look at the links...super interesting.
Apparently great for bug bites, scrapes, and is naturally occurring in the body.
Not that you have anybody in your domicile that ever hurts themselves!

That made my day mojo.
I shall have a good read later on whilst eating
The last few weeks, I've had no injuries off any of the lads so I'm happy.

How are you my friend?
Can you tell if lefty and righty are going to get along well together?
How is your walking?
Hoping the weekend is restful and uneventful!
Here's to new hips and clean kitchens!

Hey mojo, lefty and righty seem to be getting along just fine. Both feel stable and secure. Walking is coming along at its own pace, I'm in no rush to ditch crutches just yet.
Legs are both same length, no discrepancy at all. Done zero physio except walking around the living room.

Have a great weekend!!

Have to do my Saturday morning donation pickup from Walmart...hoping all my volunteers show up and then the weekend is mine!
Projected forecast ridiculously hot so I plan on floating in the pond for most of the day along with providing canine Mojo with some country running about and a ride on the ATV.
Long week...almost makes me wish I was back in recovery days...resting, icing, elevating...ALMOST!:dubious:
Healing hugs...

I nudged open the door to the ODIC yesterday. Did the washing up, prepped a large beef casserole and cleaned the worktops.
This morning doesn't feel like I did much except a dull ache in my thigh. Ice last night definitely helped keep major pain at bay.

Hope everything went well yesterday and canine mojo enjoyed his run @Mojo333

Have a great day all!!
