Jamie, thank you for your comment. Today the knees are very sore and I think that the fact they seem to be worse I do feel they need to be checked. The last fall was a nasty fall and I thought they were better but now I am in dought. They are stinging really bad. Today I got to wear real shoes and my toe doesn't hurt so its healing great. My hip is great but my knees are still hurting but not as bad. Went to pain class today and I'm afraid I'm finding it not what I expected. Really boring. In fact I left gracefully before it was over. It starts so early that I wonder am I still asleep so I don't hear it. I an not a morning person, never have been. I really would of like to gone at night but it didn't work out. Today was about sleep pattern and how to get a good sleep. One thing they said" was to get out of bed and do something quite. Other than that nothing was new. Tashia, the thing to do for your knee pain is the same as recovery....rest, ice, elevate, and take some type of pain meds (could be Tylenol) on a schedule and not just when you notice the pain. You may need to keep this up for several weeks.

After my last fall, I thought the pain in my shin bone and knee would never go away. I had a pretty good bone bruise and it lasted a couple of months before I noticed it had stopped hurting.

Thank you Jamie, I didn't want to hear it could last for months but I did really let them have it. :wacko: I did get to wear regular shoes and my toe didn't hurt so that sure is good news.:yes 4: Life is so interesting at times isn't it? You know those storms went all around us and all we got was just a little rain and wind....no biggie at all. I'm sure we'll have other opportunities, though!

Tonight I am so tired I could hardly move. I started getting my sewing room together. I did so overdo it. I had to buy lots of bookcases for my stuff. everywhere in my apartment has pile and stuff because I am swiching my bedroom. Very tired. Very score. Has to be done. Today has been a very lazy day. I very glad to report my broken toe has really gotten better. Yesterday i wore shoes almost all day and did great. I am feeling very tired and I think a snail could outrace me. Went food shopping and ended up needed a nap afterwords. Now I have food in the house and tomarrow I hope to work on my sewing room a little. Must remember to go slow. Everyone take care. Well now that I have had some pain pills I feel better. Still not happy about still needed them. Not as many but still need them. Mostly the knees that got hurt in the fall are needed them. I know i haven't had them checked but maybe I should espicallly the left one that needs to be replaced. could of hurt them and made them worse. Well I don't know about you but i do get sick of going to the doctor. My pain class I hope gets better. The next class when it comes is going to be on pain pills and other medication. Well thats enought from me and remember as each days we get closer to full recovery. :doggieshmooze:Tashia:wink2:

Hi everyone. Today looks like a good day. the birds are singing and the sun is shinning. I do something everytime I need to wait for my pain meds to take effect and I thought I would share it. After taking the pill I open my computer and log in here and start going thru the threads. And sometimes I share and sometimes I don't but what it does do is takes my mind off the pain and keep me in touch with my friends that I have made here and most of all it helps with feeling alone. I do live by myself and sometimes I need to make contact with people and this is one way I do it. My car is still down so taking a ride is still out. I spend so much time on the computer looking at cars and I am at the point I need to go and start driving so I can see if I want one or fix the one I have. I do need a new one but they are so expensive and I don't like going to the car dealer. In my adult life I have owned just a couple of cars so I do keep them till repairing them gets more than they are worth. I have been driving since I was 15 and half and lots of miles I have under my belt. When I first got married my husband started a map and marked the places we traveled and in no time it fell apart. I was thinking of putting a map of lighthouses up and start keeping track of all the lighthouses I have visited and still have to see but that will come after I get settled with my apartment.

I know Mother Nature is sure doing her things so I hope and pray all is well with you. and if you are not you are in my prays and remember you do have people that care so you are not alone. Please everyone stay safe and know you are not alone and goes for a

My day was spent during more fixing the sewing room. What a mess. I feel so unsettled and no dought will until I get the apartment done. I do wish you are to take care. We are family and family care. Thanks Punpkin, You are so right, Right now my place looks terrible. Its hard to get around in the bedroom that is being changed into the sewing room. But will keep it up. Thanks everyone before you know you will many years down the road. Ended up at the doctor today. My knees where hurt in the fall, like I need to be told. It is muscle pain and will take time to heal. My hips are hurting because I did overdue with the closet in my sewing room. The minute I get tired I stop and before I know it I have taken a very long nap. The doctor things I have a infection so he gave me some pills to cut the infection. I sure hope this works. I'm so tired of hurting. He did gets the results of the cat scan something did show up but he didn't go into it. I need to get back so I know whats going on. Please don't get me wrong I'm glad no tumor showed up but pleased let me know whats going on. It is on my left side and looks like a bubble. thats all I know. I wish I had my old doctor back he was so much better. Well thats life. Feeling down just overwhelmed about the apartment no dought.
