Jamie, thank you for the post. To tell you the truth I am so confused over the whole thing. He did say that " on the left side below my waist I have a bubble in that area." Now what is a bubble and what infection are you treating me for? Part of the problem is he is so different from my old doctor that knew I wanted to be told what is going on. Just put it out there so I can get with it and deal with it. this doctor doesn't do that and I find it so frustrating. the only thing he did say is I don't have cancer. Thats good, don't get me wrong but tell me what you saw and what are you giving me Cipro for? I find I am not patience at all and it might be getting in the way of understanding what up. I will get a phone appt and instist that he email me the result of the cat scan and just what he treating me for. I need to calm down and just relax. Today not musch is happing. My tummy really hurts and I'm so tired of being in pain. I would like to be out of tummy pain so bad. I know I'm feeling sorry for myself but I am so physical tired and emotinal tired. I know that there area lot of people that are truly hurting with Mother Nature Rage so please take care and stay safe. Well I slept most of the day and feel very down. Waiting for the pain and stomach medicane to kick in. I'm getting so down with the stomach pain, I just want it to stop.:cry4:Tashia

Jamie, You are so right. I was also thinking about asking about a stomach speclist. Maybe a second opion has also crossed my mind. I am working on the house and it does make me so much better. Please take care and look out for Mother Nature Moods. :doggieshmooze:Tashia:wacko:

Tashia, hope you are feeling better today. Everything is so much more difficult when we are down and hurting. You are doing a sewing room. What do you sew? My Mom has made so many cute dresses and pants sets for my daughter when she was growing up (she is 8). For me too when I was younger. Take care, can you call the office and talk with his nurse for an explanation??

megbabyrn, thank you for the posting. I make quilts for foster children, homeless and wounded military men and women. I use to make clothes for my daughter and hustand suits and also my clothes. My husband was so tall that it was cheaper to make suits than to have them made by someone else. He was 6'6". The minuted that company started making suits that size I stop making clothes and stated making quilts. They are so much easier. And I enjoy making them. Monday is the day for the doctor. I did start some pills that are to help infection. My knees hurt tonight. And you are right when you don't feel good, it is hard to be postive. I am going to try to write something more postive every day. megbabyrn how are you doing? I see that we both have a problems of our right knees. How is your knee doing? I have always had very physical active jobs so my body has been really been overused. Thank you for dropping by. Remember every day puts us closer to full recovery. :doggieshmooze:Tashia:loll:

Hi Tashia, I think your best therapy is your postings, you seem able to get down how you think and feel every day, and how these things affect your mood, so please carry on daily posting if it helps you, and we can all see how you are, and chip in when we feel you need a little tlc (tender loving care). I hope your days get continually better and better on your road to recovery.

Jamie and Aretha, today was a very good day. My tummy is better and I am getting more out of pain. I do now that i feel better I do remember my doctor telling me I had a bubble in my intestine. I do wish he gave me more information, I like to know whats going on so I can deal with it. The medicane is I think working. Heaven knows I'm taking enough. I don't like taking medicane so all of this is hard on me. My apartment is starting to look like a home. I still haven't gotten pictures on the walls yet. I need to put up some of my quilts up so I can enjoy their beauty. We are getting ready to have a week of rain so my knees are telling me its just around the corner. We should put up a web site for weather and I wouldn't be surprised to be more right then they are. :th_heehee: We do need the rain and snow so it will be good. Today I have more energy than I have had since I don't know when. I was really getting scared because I was getting weaker instead of stronger. And still needed meds for tummy pain was also scary. Monday I am going to ask to be refered to a specialist. this has to be done. Starting by telling me whats going on. The tummy has been messed up since the total hip replacement and that is way to long. I do know i have stress but to cause it to this extent is not right. Will keep you posted on what I find out. Thanks for the update Tashia, you sound a lot better today.

I guess the meds are important to keep any pain at al at bay, and I do hope that you can get your tummy problem sorted, or at least get an explanation as to what specifically the problem is, what caused it, and how you get rid of it!! I am sure you will eventually, and it must be lovely for you to see your apartment taking shape and getting your little personal touches out and up makes a big difference to your mood.

We moved 11 months ago now, and have just started a large rear extension and loft conversion so we are up to our eyes in mess at present, and my most treasured possessions fill our garage still in boxes, and I am so going to enjoy unpacking all these treasures when we finally get the house ship shape. It will take a few months but hey, I am not going anywhere and have learned patience from this knee recovery so not getting stressed, just enjoying the spring weather here and keeping my aqua classes, etc. up.

Aretha, All this tummy problem is causes me to get depressed. First thing in the morning I have to fight to get out of bed. My energy level is coming up so slowly, Almost everyday I fell like crying, I so know that it is being overwhemed by tummy and trying to get things settled. Also my car working so I could go for a ride would help so much. I could start going to my sewing and then I wouldn't have so much time thinging about all this stuff. I need to get some stuff for my apartment just to make it more me and that needs a car. Also I want a dog so bad. It would be cool to have one. In fact I am going to let out a sercet my dogs name was Tashia. Everytime I think of her I have such plesant thought I decided to use her name here. My real name is Jane but using Tashia is great because she was a special Angel.

I would like to talk about her. I think since most of us are animal lovers and in many ways. She was a recure dog. I was the fourth person who had her. When I brought her home I promice that she was here for life. I was told that she problably live only a couple of years because of her illness and I think she was about to give up. Well I had her for over ten years. she grew to a old lady of 16. I have a picture of her but I haven't fique of how to download her picture yet but it will happen. My last dog before her lived to the old age of 18. So looking forward to getting another one to cheer my day and to share it. I haven't decided to what kind of dog yet I wil let God decide on that. Now that I have made that statement i need to explain. the night before I dreamed of a 25lb female blond dog. And her name would be Tashia. Well when I went to a show were all the groups who had dogs I found my self attracted to a blond dog. I looked at the tag and it said 25 lbs. Then I saw her age, and I went oh man she is already 5and 1/2 years old. I don't know about this. She is already up there in age. Then I looked at her Name and it was Tashia. Spelled just like I was going to spell it. Well its history. As I said I had her over 10 years of a wounderful dog. To know Tashia was to love Tashia. Because she had been beaten a couple of times she was so afraid of people but with lots of love and attention she became on of the most lovable dogs I have every had. So please think about rescure dogs, they make wounderful pets. So we will see what dog is waiting for me to live for all its life. I felt like sharing this.

all of you that are having trouble with Mother Nature. Hang in there, she will calm down and you can get through what ever came your way. I found that I sleep most of the day and when I was up I was feeling down and hurting. Wish I had my good mood I had this morning oh well thats the way it goes. :doggieshmooze:tashia:arghh:

Tashia, I'm just catching up with your thread but I have to tell you that is the most beautiful story ever about your wonderful dog. My goodness, girl, there is another rescue dog out there that NEEDS you!!! I hope you get to the point where you can have a new fur baby in your life soon.

Thanks Jamie, You are right I need another dog but when the time is right it will happen. Right now I need to get my apartment done and get a car. Everything comes when its time. I must get this tummy taken care before anything else. Tommarrow is the show down. I have had it. It will no dought be a phone appointment but we must get on the same page. QUESTION. with a infection in my body will my hip replacement will be at risk for infection? Since my knee replacement is over two years old so there is no danger of infection either right? Well thats enough for now but please answer my question about are my replacements at risk? Please stay safe and stay out of Mother Nature Way. :doggieshmooze:tashia:DOH:

Tashia, please try not to worry about an infection going to your knee or hip joint. That is usually not the case when one develops in your body because your system has time to mount a defense. Where it is more likely is if you have large numbers of bacteria dumped in at once....before your system can gear up to fight it....like with dental work. And even this is just a theory....not a direct cause and effect.

But....you DO need to get things straight with your doctor about what is going on with your stomach. You should not be having this kind of discomfort and he/she needs to get to the bottom of it AND explain it all to you.

I agree with every word you said Jamie. I have been having terrible pain in the left knee that needs to have a complete knee replacement. I am trying to put it off until my health settles down but it sure hurts. I want to wait at least a year of my hip before i have the knee but I don't know. My other knee hurt too more than the hip. Interesting isn't it. Worked on the house and got to get out of the house. Oh how that helps the mood. Will keep you posted on what I find out. Please take care with Mother Nature Rage. :feedback:Jamie, I found out what the cat scan showed Diverticulitis. Now my understanding that is in the intestine so why is the stomach so mmmm sore. I just can't keep putting pain pills in my tummy. I also got refered to a tummy speclist. I told them asap. I had a very bad attack a couple of hours ago. Now the nurse said that cipro was the best for diverticulitis. But gave me impression I should be on two different types instead of one. I do have allergies so I do understand being caution. But getting weak is not good or having serve stomach. With the gas I'm passing its problem good thing I live alone for right now. Please tell me about this and what type of food I should not be eating. If anyone can give subjection please do. Everyone please take Mother Nature is really doing a number in the deep South.
