@Lyla. I was once told by a practice nurse when I asked about low BP to eat more salt. I took the advice with a grain of salt (Groan, sorry, couldn’t resist) but I did at least feel liberated thence forward from going for low salt options. The nurses in the first hospital told me to drink lots of coffee. The doctor in the emergency room after my dramatic fainting act told me off for drinking coffee and told me to drink more water. No one has ever said to drink less water.
Silent killer, hmmm. I had always regarded it as a bonus, no need to worry about high BP. I have a BP monitor, I’ll keep an eye on it.
