Glad that the X-rays are good. Were you not offered any physio before ? I hope it helps your tight muscles.

I'm glad your X-rays looked good. This is a good time for you to start working on loosening up your muscles. I expect you'll have good results from that.

I think 16 weeks is a good time to start physio, although I'm sorry that you are having pain. Maybe with some gentle stretches, massage and range of motion work you'll feel better. Don't tell them about the shed roof or the roller skates or they will expect more and make you work harder....

I started physio at 10 weeks of my own volition, not because of any problems.

Hope it helps,
Cardie

Thanks. Was in Blackpool last week. My phone was getting no Internet. Pah

Weather here has been great. I have a wee suntan. Lol. Bought the kids a paddling pool. They were driving me nuts. X

I fell in the back garden last night. Face first into the fence. Hand into bushes and wood. Have a splint on. Have fracture clinic next week. Hand really sore and swollen. I shouldn't be allowed out alone. Loo

Audball you poor baby! Do you know yet how it will heal? How come you can wear roller skates on the roof and not get hurt:rotfl: but trip over nothing in the back garden and wind up with a broken hand! How is your face/teeth/nose?? SO glad the hip was not involved :)

I shouldn't be allowed out alone. Loo

Well, I hope everything will be alright! I had an episode in a store that involved a large box tipping over and falling on my shin last year and I proclaimed the same thing -- actually I declared that I needed a handler. Too bad we all live so far from one another!!

Take care,
Cardie

Hahahahaha. I had a big skelf in my wrist, for a week. Hospital tried Lancing it with a local anaesthetic. That stung a bit and the found nothing. I popped it out myself later. I have to be more careful.

Audball well I sure had to look up "skelf" LOL. Scotland sure has a funny language.... my secret weapon for "splinters" is ichthamol ointment, or drawing salve. Black goop and smells awful, but absolutely miraculous at getting things and infections out! :)

Becky I sometimes eat it. I don't mind the taste but my husband only eats the veggie one. He says it's stinking. Hahahahahaha. I need to come on here more, but I always use my phone and it is really slow to type. I need to use my laptop more but I can't sit still long enough. Even if I'm really sore, I keep moving. Lol
