Have no answers for you as to what could be causing this new feeling at the back of your knee.
And it seems to have rattled your confidence in recovery. You're resting and icing and elevating and that's the right thing to do at this stage.
If it continues to give you trouble, it might be wise to contact your GP do OS office to see what they have to say.
