hi - I am getting BTKR on 28 January 2015Excited and nervous at the same time. This will be in the middle of an Australian summer so the air conditioning in hospital and rehab is an added bonus

Change of schedule! My surgeon's office called and said my date has been moved closer, from January 7th to January 5th.

hey @huskymama we are doing it together - I'm BTKR on 28 January. like you I am excited about the "other side". Hope we can buddy along with our journeys - we will have ups and downs but all good in the end. Best wishes Maggie

I am having bi-lateral knee replacements on january 20. I am scared to death, don't know what to expect. Pray for me.

hi @beton23 I'm bilateral a week later - 28th... read the forum and it will give you a wealth of info about what to do prior ie getting the house set up, during and post.... all great stuff. In addition to the practical I have found the support of others just wonderful - it is encouraging and supportive. Read, read read, interact with the forum - look at the December people who had replacements and watch their progress. The more you know the less is unknown. I find it helps.
