Hi Toothfairy , I'm pleased you've finished work now so can sort yourself out without rushing. I hope you have a lovely weekend with your family, that will be nice to catch up and see them before your op.

.
Take your time as you don't want to go into hosp too exhausted as first couple of days will be hard as you won't have eaten much and be on your new supersonic meds.
Im doing better now on meds, have cut 1 or 2 out, and I'm making sure I'm eating regularly, which is helping.
Its a strange feeling, getting ready and preparing, I cleaned the whole house, changed beds, all laundry and empty dishwasher and made sure the fridge and larder full as I knew hubby would be busy whilst I was in hosp and it was fine. I remember walking downstairs thinking it would be a while before I'd be doing that easily again. It's when you get back and it hits you that you really can't do much, pretty much anything for a while. I've very slowly started to do a couple of things, but I don't stand for more than a few mins at a time.
I did some half rotations on the bike for 2 mins earlier then had to go to bed as realised I was totally exhausted. This lack of sleep is catching Up now.
Im sure your op won't be cancelled, your friend was probably just a bit unlucky on this occasion.
Ok, you go off and have a great weekend, I'm still hanging out at home, and look forward to catching Up soon and getting you all set for your Big Day. Take care my friend

Skippy times ahead.
Fernie.. Now doing a bit of

(well half rotations! )
