Hi
@Nana757
Congratulations to your speedy progress. You needn't be an alien to do so well - we humans have got it all we perform the miracles - the lyrics from a great song by Kate Bush if you remember that British 80s singer.
My recovery was not bad but not faster than yours either. I could have gone back to work at week 4 but chose not to because it wasn't necessary. Instead I had 2 weeks extra off work after staying at the rehab center and enjoyed the month of May with my husband.
I don't do any PT but do my favourite kinds of sport which I did for several years before my hip went bad: cycling, swimming, a bit of running in the lunch hour in the forest near work, walking. My husband is also great - he walked with me during recovery and continues to do so now.
Keep up the good work and carry on reporting to us. Surely a positive attitude helps. I disagree with those who say only the body decides how fast you heal and you can influence it with the brain: my experience. I was very depressed before the OP and hurt more and more. After the OP, I improved right from the start as from day 0, because I was determined to get better.
Eating properly helps, too. And getting enough sleep.
And
@Legin , are you sure you've only got one brain cell? You often have such intellingent ideas - I especially liked that metaphor with the diversion: When you said the recovering leg behaves like someone trying to take the quickest route but then the sat nav tells you to do a diversion because there are road works and a jam. This is so true.
