Aside from the skill of the medical staff and the luck that everything progresses normally well, one of the biggest predictors of what you will be able to do afterwards is what you could do before. If you are fairly active and have good musculature before your recovery will be easier. If you put the surgery off until your muscles have atrophied and you can't move very well then not only do you have to recover from the surgery but rebuild your muscles.

I am often wondering what I am doing to my good LTKR. Sometimes I catch it swelling just a little. This makes me think I am doing too much with it. I am really trying to be careful until surgery time. I know things will be so much better. I think I may even be able to run again. Keep the hope. :yes 4:
