Told my girlfriend about me getting new hip

With the exception of the people I used to work with, where all sorts of joint problems were common. Many people would look at me and go you're so young or some other uninformed saying. Don't sweat it. Most don't mean anything by it, they're just behind the times.

I like the shark wrestling story -- OR you could go with it being a flare up of an old wound you got while working in Black Ops that is so secret you're not allowed to talk about it. OR you could say you hurt your hip working at your second job pole dancing for the mafia in Sicily. Or how 'bout an old football injury while playing for Notre Dame while masquerading as a male student? Lotsa possibilities.

@easethepain Welcome! But, hey -- you're not nearly the youngest ever -- we've had TEENAGERS on this forum needing new hips, and a number of folks in their twenties!

You'll be SO glad when your hip is replaced and you're rid of the pain!
