THR Tashia's Hip is in Recovery, WOW!

Hi Tashia,

Thanks for all the kind words, you are a very wise woman, and I appreciate you, as do others on the forum. I will be having a quiet weekend, I like normal, every day days the best, not into any hoopla around holidays, etc. Today, I felt better than ever. How are your quilts coming along? Take care, hon, the knee will be new before you know it.

This weekend will hopefully be spent sewing if my feet hold out. Today has been good the swelling both on knees and feet are going down. Everyone have a good and safe weekend. :doggieshmooze:Tashia:friends:

That is good news Tash... Enjoy the sewing. Lots of love and hugs xx

Hey Tashia

I cannot change the weather (I've tried but a ranting old woman in the middle of the street only brings the police.) I cannot forecast the future (if I could I would be in the Bahamas right now.)

The only thing I can do is send you white light. (My Mom would send white light to us when we needed her but she couldn't be with us. Just knowing the light was on its way seemed to help.) Hopefully my light will ease your trouble even just a little.:console:

BTW did I ever tell you my one joke?

Why don't sharks eat clowns?

They taste funny----:egypt-dance:I never said it was a good joke. :th_heehee:

Take care and keep the faith. We are in this all together.

Love Carol

Tashia
I hope you have a great weekend. Enjoy your sewing and hopefully you have decent weather. It is probably hot now in your area.
Carol, I did chuckle at your joke. :th_heehee:

Here is the sun out right now and I will go outside and enjoy it. A bit cool yet in the 50s but ok.
Take care
Bea

Thank you all so much. I have tried many times to write but I just not ready yet but i do love reading all the jokes. Because this is a holiday in the US this weekend please everyone be careful and don't forget to thank those who have given up everything for the freedom we have. I hope everyone who has lost a love one in the military know that my heart thinks of the men and women every day and are not forgotten one moment. :doggieshmooze:Tashia:friends:

Tashia

I know a little how you feel as sometimes its just too overwhelming to sit down and write a post. I would just read the incoming posts and sometimes would go on other's threads and contributed there. I didn't have to deal with my stuff and at least I felt I was helping someone else.

Hang in there ---White light----

Hi Tash

Post when you feel up to it darling, you are always so caring and loving to us. Now is our time to give back to you.

Lots of love always xxx

p.s. Carol, love the white light xx

Sorry you are feeling so sad...positive thoughts and prayers coming your way. Please post when you feel up to it...we care deeply about you.

Tashia,
Hope you have a calm and peaceful weekend! I'm glad to hear the swelling is down. I wish I knew some jokes to tell you but I'm lousy at comedy:( I'll try and find a few. Take care and rest up over the weekend. We are thinking of you and sending white light (Carol,I love it)

This week was busy going to two doctors today and both were very good visits. Not knowing the unknown is much harder that then knowing whats going on. My Cancer doctor adjusted my medicane and was pleased with all the tests and said it was so nice to see someone who won the battle. that was so nice to hear. After the knee replacement he wants to see me again so he can get my medicane all balance out again. the surgrey must be coming soon since I am seeing the doctors more than my friends. I am finding that my pain medicane isn't lasting more that five hours so I do hope this surgrey gets on the road soon. Everyone do take care and have a good weekend and a safe one. :doggieshmooze:Tashia:friends:

Hi Tash

That is a great report from your Cancer specialist.. Wonderful news - you are such a survivor babe xx

It will be good to get your knee surgery done, I smiled when you said it must be getting close, because you are seeing the Doc's more than your friends.. You have a wonderful sense of humor :)

Take care sweetie xx

Hi Tashia, just wanted to send you a big hug :friends: Hope you have a lovely weekend.

I want to tell everyone that l am making peace with all things in life. Some things no matter you don't like it, it happens. I have tired writing about whats going on and I find after I write it i cancel it out. I choose a very active life and one that one that was very phyicial and the chance of being hurt were almost 100% going to happen. At work I got hurt really bad and was able to overcome it and felt that it would no longer be in my life. Now down the road the injury has come back and I am having a real had time with it. As Human we forget how fagel we are eventhough we are also so strong. I hope my spelling isn't so bad you can't know what I'm talking about. I see that I have gotten this far so I must accepting some of it. Everyone take care. :doggieshmooze:Tashia:friends:

Hey Tashia, so glad you are part of our BoneSmart family. I really relate to your post about accepting what life has offered us. I have been dealing with the same type of issue with my bad back for years. Some days I fight it and scream about how unfair life is. Other days I just accept that I will always have bad back but it will not stop me from living.

You are a very strong and compassionate lady Tashia. Thanks for being here! :friends:

Jaycey, Thank you for sharing this, it really helps, Last night I tired to go to sewing and my feet hurt so bad I almost called a Taxi to take me home. I have noticed that my left foot is really sweling and I noticed that part of the foot is really deforming. I hope its just swelling and not liking the way I walk or should i say try to walk. My doctor wasn't happy about it but thinks I should continue having the operation. The other foot got real bad before the other knee was done so pray its just that. After hurting my feet many years ago i was told that walking would be a challange for me for the rest of my life. I thought I had beat it but some problems just don't go away. I was at that time told I would never walk again. I beat the odds and lived with the thought that I would never have to deal with it again. I was wrong. thats all i can say Its very hard for me to talk about this. thank you for finally help me getting this out. I find this so scary. :doggieshmooze:Tashia:friends:
