THR Tashia's Hip is in Recovery, WOW!

glynis, sorry to hear about your dog. It is never easy to loose such a good friend.
I do hope that you date on the operation comes soon. Sometimes it goes so slow and the other time so fast. I find that I have been trying to get everything done so I will be ready for the phone call. With the weather being that it is, I find myself wishing it was cooler that now. I don't like 100 degree weather. Please keep me informed on how you are doing, I do care. I have been through this before. It just takes time and patience. take care and do have a very good weekend. :doggieshmooze:Tashia:friends:

I was thinking how small the world has become since the internet. We get to know people all around the world and a family that is so big it couldn't fit into my house for a family reuion. Wow. What a wonderful thing to have. After this knee I will have only a hip to go. Last time I saw the hip doctor he said that the hip did look better and hopefully getting the knee done I will walk so much better that it may not happen. Living in a world that we chose to be active has broghte us all together and become even stronger. As I wait for the new knee I guess I have so much time on my hands that I looking at the way the world is coming together is such a postive way; Science has made us a way to live a good life. But to get there we have to have a surgrey that is ruff but for those who are very concerned or afraid of it. Yes it does hurt but the rewards are so much more than you can image. Like being ble to get out of bed and be able to get dressed and go for a walk with friends or have a four legged friend. Or to be able to have a pet that loves you even better because you are no longer in so much pain you can play or get him or her favoritae treats. I do understand this is very important in a cats life. My dogs all loved to walk to see what going on outside his home. Well I need to go and start washing and get things done. Work is never done at least not at my house. All take care and please be careful with the weather, she has a way of getting her way and rain, and hurricane has begone so please be careful. :doggieshmooze:Tahia:cat-kittyandsmiley:

Hey Tash,

How are you doing? See it's been a few days since you have posted and hope all is well. Do you have things in order for your knee "date"? Please let us know how things are going. Miss you.

Hi Tasia, catching up on your thread after being offline for a few weeks. I see you are having a difficult time of it. I also see how hard you are working at staying positive and see you trying to be grateful for what you have, which is so important. My partner and I have a gratitude journal just out on the end table in the living room. Occasionally I open it and write what I am thankful for in that moment. On the days I am down, I open it to remind me of just how much I truly have to be thankful for.

...and might I add, that the reason you find so much love and support on this site is, you send SOO much out to others. What goes around comes around my dear. As usual, sending healing, positive vibes your way.

As a friend of mine always says "Make it a good day"
Cathy

Ok, I think I have found it. Feeling a little better. Been really having lots of very difucult days. Pain is really out of control and so our my nerves. thank you for your help and love during this very difficuilt for me. I know I have fallen our of space but do hope to get back in and be more sociably. I Have missed you all very much. So much . If I don't have to post all whats going on I guess is a way from me to deal or not deal with it.
tonight is a very diffucllt time for me so knowing that i can now get back of line helps me greatly. I was even wondering how the snakes were doing. the little guys should be little bigger now and therefore the birds can see them better. i have moments that I root for the snaked:happydance: and then the think of one of them coming for tea just doesn't settle with me. :shocked:Everyone do take care and do all stay safe. :puppysmooze:Tashia:angel:

Hi everyone, I really didn't post till yesterday that I had finally got my knee done. The operation went great but I had a reaction with something during the surgrey so I have been really felling mmm. got any Bendryal? I have had so much medician that I wonder if my stomach knows what food is. I 'm still not there as far as pain is under control but it is so much better that it has been. I think all the rash finally decided to leave but now is the hard part and that is rehab and pain control. Will write more later. I am trying to learn how to use this new site. I think its great but its sure above my knowledge of computer but got plenty of time to learn it. Everyone take care and all do stay safe. :puppysmooze:Tashia
