Hello Everyone!

Let me let you in on a little secret:secretaea: I am tired. I have had family in here all day, put up with an incompentent nurse last night that would not give me pain meds according to schedule, and one today who stiil has out the MRSA banners like I am wearing a big M on my chest. Other than that, I feel pretty good, just sore!:th_heehee:

A friend of mine told her mother when she was in hospital - if you've had enough of your visitors, close your eyes and pretend to be asleep. Then they go away. Apparently, it worked!

Its great to hear you're doing so well, and the MRSA all gone. Just wonderful.

Thank you everyone! God just continues to bless me! I am doing so well in fact that they are planning on moving me to inpatient rehab as early as tomorrow! Sure I have some pain which is to be expected:wink1:, but I can do a partial straight left lift already.:yes 4:

What is it with Baylor nurses who don't give meds on schedule!!! I had the same problem and that made my first 2 days in the hospital miserable. Hope you got it all sorted out!

I had one of those nurses when I got to rehab---that alone will make you tired out. Hopefully most of your nurses are like all the other ones I had, who were wonderful. Once you get your meds on time you should get some good sleep. (one time while in the hospital, I fell asleep smack in the middle of PT because I had just taken the pain meds

Helo everyone! Well, the first two days were pretty good until I ran into that dreadful third day!:DOH: as I seem to recall it goes this way every time so tomorrow should be much better! I move to Baylor Frisco rehab center tomorrow so somewhere different will be good.:th_heehee: talk more later, I am tired!:wink1:

Good luck...Your young and should bounce back fast. I envy you in that you did it and are on the way to recovery.
My knees are trashed and I don't have surgery until July 9th and 18th..

I talked to Sonja this morning. She sounded so tired. She was waiting for some tests and then a move to a rehab facility in another town. She said "hi" to everyone.

Needless to say, I didn't go see her today. I will call her tomorrow and arrange for a visit later in the week, after she's settled at the rehab facility and has her routine down.

Keep good thoughts for her!
