Snickers sorry on the cold me too... Nettie pot helps me lots at night. I know that dawg tired feeling. I did sleep kinda decent last night..
And my sense of taste is off.

My wife was laughing at me...she said this cold is harder to get over than the hip surgery!! I think I agree..... She did make homemade chicken and noodles tonight.....yum yum!

@snickers I may have to officially promote you to Snickers Ice Cream Bar-- at three weeks you did all that?!!?? That's amazing! And don't you DARE talk happy to any one of your work colleagues just by accident, or send a happy email or anything-- they ought to believe that you are miserable!

Sorry for all the colds that are going around-- neti pot is my daily thing. I wear a mask on airplanes these days so I don't catch something that takes my asthma and turns it into something far worse. Glad you're clearing up a little!

22 days in recovery....started a new workout routine. 4 miles on the bike and .75 miles walking everyday. Getting back that muscle tone I lost.

Good grief @snickers that is quite alot of exercise you are able to do! I think I congratulate you, but I also am nervous (as I am with anybody) that you will suddenly join the ODIC... you are young, you will regain muscle tone after healing. Nevertheless, I am quite in awe that you can ride a bike that far at 3 weeks out!

I have to....they still won't let me drive. So I wait at home patiently for my wife to come home and take me on an "Outing". Getting kinda restless.

Okay now...I see ODIC too. Please be careful. Remember that new stem stuck down in your femer...just because you Can doesn't mean you Should.
Not to be downer, just be careful.
And no falling down and go boom!

Oy! I think I would be restless too...when do you think you'll be cleared to drive? And have you cheated even just the teeniest bit on that? Backed out of the garage? On my first hip, I was cleared at two weeks IF and WHEN I was not taking narcotics. Nobody said a word about driving this hip. I was off narcotics at two weeks, not by choice, but was having tremendous vestibular effects from the GA or the meloxicam or the who knows what, and I kind of waited for that to settle down before I drove anything more than the grocery store.
