THR Second one - hope it's better than the first

Hi there, Bev
Congrats on the eve of your 6 week anniversary! :yay:
Yay! Bonfire tomorrow with the hateful socks. I realize they serve a purpose but they're no fun.
Hoping physio helps you loosen those tight muscles....wishing you luck.

Did you throw yourself to the ground a couple times yesterday and cry "Help, help"
so the hot builder had to come to your rescue?

Hope the rest of your week is great!
@Bevlah

@Layla throw myself to the floor with these hips? Ha ha no but I have been very busy making him lots of tea...... my inner giggly girl has been let loose!!! Just need to get my muscles loose now! Hope all is well with you lovey

All is well, Bev, Thanks!

Six weeks yesterday....Yahoo! All restrictions lifted....lookout, here she comes :yahoo:
Thinking this is your first day back to work...part time.
I hope all goes well and that you have a wonderful weekend!
@Bevlah

Doing great Bevlah.
Keep on getting better and better.
Loosening will probably be a little down the road. Only been slightly over a month.
Lots of healing going on in there.
Stay slow and easy and things will improve faster!
Yay for Friday.

Hoping your weekend is wonderfully healing.
You have a sweet positive nature and that will serve you well.
The last time I saw my OS and thanked him again for taking such good care of me, he said he gives much credit of the success to the positivity and diligence of the patient.
Onward and upward, Bevlah.

@Mojo333 feeling like a different person literally 6 weeks to the day post op! Not using a cane or anything around the house now but am outside. Just concentrating on building up the muscles. Feeling good!!!!! Hope you have a lovely weekend and thank you for stopping by

So glad you are doing well.
I'm amazed every day and as the months go by hoped our amazing bodies can accept this replacement and how we get to go on with our lives.
:ok:

Great update! @Bevlah
It's nice to read how you're progressing and
it sounds as though you're doing phenomenally well at only six weeks.
Keep up the good work! I hope you're weekend is peaceful.

Hi @Bevlah
Stopping by to see how your weekend was and how your week is
going so far? Hopefully you're feeling stronger each day.
Give us an update when you have time....
A great rest of the week to you!

@Layla hi lovely lady. A quiet weekend as it's very cold in the UK at the moment so not keen on going anywhere!! Operated leg still very weak so still not driving but I will get there! Physio appt for 2 months time, welcome to the NHS!!! Hope you are well

Hi Bev,
I read about your harrowing journey home while the Beast from the East
was burying the town in snow :snow plough:
It must have felt good to be in your nice, cozy, warm house after all that.
The thought of slipping is so scary in recovery.....who wants to fall?!!! Not me!
Wishing you a great week as you continue on your healing journey.
Hugs  @Bevlah

@Layla we now have a new storm coming across so have stayed at home today! It's very icy outside so I am wrapping my new hip up in cotton wool and treating it to a sofa day!! We just can't cope with snow in the UK! Hope you are well lovey

@Bevlah - I'm catching up on recoveries today.... I'm only 1 week post-op and my 'first week' was nothing compared to your early days... but 'where you are now' is where I hope to be in a few weeks! (This is a case where it's not as much about the journey as it is the destination) Enjoy your cozy snow day. Living in the Midwest/USA - I particularly love them (as long as I don't have to go out). It's a lovely 'pre-spring' day here... but I won't be going out in 'it' either. March is coming in like a lamb here... like a lion in the UK! Stay Warm! (Except for the icing)
