I appreciate your suggestion, but what you've suggested won't work for me - I can't sleep unless I'm so warm I'm about to start sweating. And if the covers aren't firmly attached, I'll twist and pull until I wake up cold because they're not covering me anymore. The key for me last time was to gradually get back into it (I'd slept in a recliner for over a year the first time around). Gradually I'll strengthen all of the muscles so that turning over is no big deal and hope I go back to sleep quickly in the interim!
I'm glad things are going so well for your recovery! My incision's btwn 3 and 4 inches long and completely covered by panties (at least hip huggers or granny panties). I looked at anterior but changed my mind when I saw info on SuperPath - just liked the logic of the approach - and had someone here in St. Louis that does it. I know I probably am lucky to some degree - I either have a high pain tolerance or am usually just too busy barreling through life to notice it unless it gets really bad. I'm kind of like the puppy that runs around and around until it drops and begins snoring midactivity.
