Yep, looks sore to me. Yay, RB is going home and welcome to the other side. We hope and pray the other hip will not let you down in the coming weeks. Think positive even under these bad times. This too shall pass!
 
Take it easy and rest. What is AVN? Rest ice and elevate. Praying for a good recovery.
 
@HippyHelen AVN is avascular necrosis. @MajorHeidi not at home yet I went to my parents house for a week or so since it is set up better for me. Once I get stronger I will go home. But anywhere is better than the hospital.

The day will come where you have to sell it or scrap it, so don't get too attached.
 
You need red calipers on those things! :). I know your parents love having you! No matter how old our kids get, that Mom instinct remains strong, anytime one if them needs us. Hope things will all go smoothly now. Good healing wishes.
 
Lol I have a friend that does airbrushing for a living. I thought about taking it to him to spruce it up some. My parents have been great to me. So far things are looking up.

I remember Day 5 and 6 being some of my toughest days. I'm sure being with parents right now feels pretty good. :)

Remember when we were kids, and the bikes had those streamer things hanging off the handlebars?
That would add a nice touch.....
I don't know at 5-6 days out, how I would get up off that seat, though. :heehee:

Well 5 days post op and I walked about 10 steps without a walker or cane. Leg is really hurting now. Probably wasn't the best idea after the fact.

@rbtaylor14 that looks pretty good just 4 days out, but it just somehow doesn't look like a body part I recognize, disjointed as it is there!! LOL

I'm 18 days out, and still under orders not to put full weight on mine, but I'm probably odd man out. Just be careful! Set backs not allowed.
 
@Beachmusic at the end of the curve on the far right is the top of my butt. The top of the image from left to right is the back if my thigh and butt.
