Oh dear. I do indeed get the drift.I have named my right knee "Beelzebub". You get the drift?
Well I wonder about her pain tolerance--must be quite high--or she's simply more willing to push through pain than I am.interesting about the other woman with 120 degrees flexion
i actually told a little white lie at one surgeon appointment when he asked me what my r.o.m. was at my physio ~ i said it was 85 degrees, instead of 82 degrees which it really was.
then i was hoping that at the next appointment i would have gained enough that it would be over 85 degrees. he always checked me himself. i agree with you and gertie, a Skype video appointment would be convenient, save a lot of time, so long as everything was healing normally. i think there are doctors that have that option for some patients.
. In my two appts I always reported the highest ROM I had ever achieved since the last visit - even if I hadn't reached it in a week or more. I would also say, "oh - I've been pretty active today so a bit stiff and swollen now (with fingers and toes crossed). Luckily he didn't measure - but as SusieShoes found out they can just look at us and be pretty close to guessing our ROM.
I'm going to ask @SusieShoes to be my surrogate on Skype, lol.lol - now I'm in stitches laughing- but did you apologize?

Bully for her... but look at you! You're bending like a champ.
Totally normal to come back from that first OS appointment after the surgery and nap.![]()
