But Sunnyhippy, you declared nothing in the answers you gave me. Minimla pain, no pain meds, no icing/elevating, no PT. There was nothing for me to comment on.

So tell me what is worrying you? Unless you do, there is nothing I can say.

My question has not changed. My left hip has ached since day one now a year later I'm not pain free. I call the pain a ache but it's always there and it's not like before surgery. My Dr has tested me thinks it it psaos impingement. Is it normal to still have pain a year out? Not a 7 pain Its always the same. This hip feels tight and aches enough to keep me worrying.

Wondering when / if your surgeon plans to dig deeper as to the source of your pain?
Did he offer you options, if it's determined to be Psoas Impingement?

Psoas pain is tendinitis and this can become a chronic pain. If it persists like this then I suggest you see a chiropractor or osteopath.
