Re: This is my story - Part 3
Jamie, thank you ever so much! It just made sense to me to put the whole story in there as I certainly have had my ups and downs :dev-godseesaw: in a lot of ways

...But, it is my whole story...
So, I am embarassed to say it was, as Jo always says "Easy Peasy! :th_heehee:!
They were so kind and accomodating, was awake up until the "10 minute" procedure and back in recovery wide awake and feeling better than ever immediately after!
I'll tell you, this morning I was barely able to walk, couldn't bend to feed the cat or get my sneakers on I was sooo sore and stiff. She gave me a dose of IV Prednisone (they do this when you've been recently on it before a preocedure?) a dose of Toradol, and I am feeling like a Million Bucks again!
So, I will go back on the Mobic for sure until the week before the THR. There is no way I could go 6 more weeks without an NSAID.
All in all, it was an easy procedure, although I am starting to feel a little "something" now that all the anesthetic is wearing off. I am telling you all of this in case anyone else has to go thru it and no, I didn't need an antibiotic for it either.
Thanks again for your kind thoughts and prayers. The ol' pegs were handled very gently :th_heehee:!
