Sorry to hear you are feeling ill again Janet.
This is going to get better, but it's taking so (enter your favorite expletive) long isn't it?
If your temperature goes up again or if you feel ill in any way, please contact the doc, even if it isn't your regular one.
Surely by now there are notes he/she could look at without you having to go through the whole thing again?
I do really feel for you.

Ok, so back from seeing the NP. She ran a ton of labs and thinks the Prednisone may have woken up some underlying disease :skeptical:...

I really felt last night like I was about to die. Just really sick. So, I went his afternoon. She should have some results tomorrow and had me call the Rheumatologist to see him next Thursday, the first day he is NOT at the practice at Beth Israel in Boston...

I don't think I am getting away unscather this time...

Thanks everyone. I am just so sick. If I were to take a guess, I would say I have Lupus, or something on that line. But, I am leaving that up tp the Rheumatologist on Thursday.

Looking back, if I took all my symptoms individually since June, and all the various physicain/specialists, one would not think about them. But all of them together is concerning. I am really sick.

I am trying to ride this out, but I have no energy what so ever, hurt all over, mainly back, muscles/joints and legs and no appetite. Can finally lie flat to sleep, but can hardly hold my eyes open.

Fingers crossed and a few prayers would be much appreciated. I will let you know ASAP. Thanks everyone :grouphug2: ...

Just logged on before I go for my second hip tomorrow.

I felt I couldn't go without sending you kind thoughts and very best wishes for a quick solution.

You were there for everyone last year when I had my first THR and you are still here now giving constant support and encouragement. It's people like you that make this site so valuable. I so wish we could do something for you. Just hope you can feel the communal love coming from everyone.

Hope to hear good reports when I get home next week.
