Discussion in 'Hip Replacement Recovery Area' started by allena, Nov 13, 2018.
I have noticed 5 posative changes.1)My scar isn't numb anymore,2)The area around the scar is alot less sore ,3)I can raise my right leg as high as my left leg(though it is uncomfortable to do so with my right leg),4)I can put my socks on the normal way and 5)my hip feels much closer to natural than it has in some time.
I hope everyone has a good weekend.
I almost forgot.I can cross my legs form right to left, not just left to right.
That is great progress allena!
Awesome news, allena!
You've come so far. Your turnaround from sweet but downhearted, despairing pre-op, allena

That's pretty.I love them also. They will bloom here in may. It's been a nice day so far.I ran some errands earlier.
I rolled over on my right side last night. It hurt after a very short time, but I did it.someday it will be comfortable to do so.It's a good start.
It does take some time to get accustomed to that...this is about the time I started working on it myself.
Things can still be sensitive...you Will get there.
I'm so happy all is going well for you.
