thanks
PDH63! It is amazing indeed. I'm very happy. Took my first car trip today - I didn't drive of course, but went along with my husband to our kids' soccer practice - the dog and I sat in the car and watched (the ground was way too uneven for a walker) and it was nice to get out. It's nice weather here so we rolled the windows down and enjoyed the drive and the change of scenery.
One thing I cannot wait to get back to is driving. I take my dog everywhere (I mean things that don't require me to leave him in the car) - like dropping off and picking up the kids, going to the post office or library drop off bins, etc. -- seems like such a small thing - but I miss it, and I know he (my pup) does too.
Speaking of pets - I've got to give my 3 cats and dog a lot of credit - they adjusted to my clomping around with a walker with no problem - they haven't once gotten in my way, and it doesn't scare them (one of my fears was it would scare my pets). So that has worked out very well!
OH - here's a funny. My daughter, 10, has quite the sense of humor. She borrowed my walker today and walked with it, yelling "get out of my yard, ya darned kids!" LOL. We all got a good laugh (best medicine!).
