If it doesn't hurt, it should go away as Mary regains muscle strength.
Josephine probably can comment further.

@Sonny'sWife, I have moved your post with pictures of Christmas goodies from the Game Room thread Boy's Names A to Z. This post is appropriate for your own thread or perhaps for a thread in the Social Room about Christmas decorations and traditions.

The games in the Game Room are not for general posting---they're just for playing the particular game.

Hope things are improving for you. Take care and keep us posted. We care.

Thanks lol. I don't know how to use this app. I am learning.

PT will be able to get a good look at your knee, and maybe have an explanation for you.
Your incision looks good.

Thanks pumpkin less and less swelling. Not to say I am excited lol. But maybe she can tell me. She was the one who said I don't know if we can help u. And then before Sugary she said I knew it. But anyways thanks again. I will let u all know.

@Sonny'sWife, good luck tomorrow inPT. I hope they have an answer for you.
I also hope you are able to sleep tonight. Anne

Be sure you are taking a full dose of your pain medications on a set schedule. That should help you sleep better. It will help if you ice while you sleep too. Set an alarm to wake up and take a dose of pain medication in the night. Make sure you have a cookie or cracker to eat along with the meds to keep from having an upset stomach.

@Sonny'sWife, I hope there's an explanation for what happens In that video, because to someone who hasn't had the surgery yet it's a bit scary to see how that one part of your knee kind of pops off to the side under the skin.

Good luck hope all goes well

It's not likely that your surgeon will re-open your knee so soon. I'm more inclined to believe what @Pumpkln told you.

Sonny's wife,
I hope you have made an appointment with your Surgeon, he is the one who can tell you what is going on with your TKR.
You are less than a month out from your surgery, you are very early in recovery, hopefully this is just a bump in the road.
Keep following the Bonesmart mantra, Rest, Ice, Elevate, and Medicate on schedule.

Please take Pumpkln's advice. This is a question for your surgeon.

@Sonny"sWife please dont be too despondant. You need all the info from the experts. I know it must feel like arrrrrrrrrrrrgh and you have a right to feel that. Get on toutch with surgeon and find out. Thinking of you pal. Oh this guy called legin is good to scream at apparently
