@dianehelen I'm so sorry about hubby, I hopes he is better soon and all is resolved so you can be as stress free as possible these next few weeks, keep us updated!!!

Thanks friends.. I have to admit Im pretty upset and bummed out right now... :(

I think I need to take a bit of a break from Bonesmart, before I get banned from here. Im really upset, and sometimes find it hard to control my thoughts and words even when trying to follow the rules here. So for now, just for a little bit Im probably better off just taking a break, rather than facing exclusion from here that I will desperately need in a few weeks

Please all take care of yourselves, be well, heal and keep moving forward...

I will be back in a week or so.... I hope

I'll miss you, Diane. Prayers are sent up for you and your husband.

Dianehelen.....I hope you don't stay away too long. We'd miss you here if you did!

Please don't worry about your emotions. We all understand being under the pressure of an upcoming surgery. Add in husbands who have problems and the nerves can go through the roof. Please know that you can vent here. We care about you.

I'm truly sorry for what you are going through...I will miss your wit, but I understand...your friends will be here waiting for you when you are ready to come back:flwrysmile:

Reading what you are going through is overwhelming, take care of yourself. We are here for you.

We miss you Diane. I hope everything's OK with you and your husband.

Ok my bonesmart friends. I took my little hissy fit time out and chilled out just a smidge. My new plan is to not vent personal stresses & frustrations here, other than knee surgery issues. If I can keep things compartmentalized , I think following the overall rules here will be easier

So... Update, husband still in hospital, that's all I'll say about that for now.

I did my bloodwork saturday, saw my primary dr today, got my surgical clearance. My bp was higher than it usually is, probably from stress. She wrote the note for clearance, but added , monitor bp, hope that doesn't throw a monkey wrench in the works, but for now, onward to August 8 , pre op stuff, meet with sleepy doc, and OS, then a week later the "no turning back" moment. Of course all this can fall apart depending on how my husband is.

Hope you all are doing well, I'll try to catch up with the new knee gang on the other side

I'm so glad you are back, I missed you...hope hubby is doing better.

I'm glad you got your clearance, I'm sure bp is due to stress...if you need to vent let me know, I can message you my phone #, I've been told I'm a good listener, and you can curse, I don't have delicate ears, I'll help any way I can...take care:flwrysmile:

Aweee @uva55 Clara I :roseshwr: you my friend. I cant wait till we are past this knee stuff and can share that wine at a beautiful gulfcoast sunset. Preferably when its not a thousand degrees outside :-)

Sure pm your number.

You really are an amazing wonderful woman

Can I come down and visit? No coastline up in the mountains here! Lots of snow in the winter though. :snow dig:

It's good to have you back! If you can remember back in my pre-op thread, my BP was up over 20 points. It stayed up until after my surgery. When I went to the hospital for the pre-op exam, it was up then, but the nurse said that everybody's was always up when facing this surgery. I'm sure they will take that into consideration. It seems like so many things come up before having this surgery and it drives us up the wall! I was so afraid that the butcher job I had on the tooth extraction wouldn't heal in time, and all his pa said when she called was to ask me how my mouth was. All that worrying for nothing! I hope things fall into place for you and will go smoothly from here on out!

Good to see you back. Hope hubby is doing okay. My BP also went up during pre-op stuff. I think it's normal, and you have had more stress than most. Remember to take it easy. I don't usually have much to say, but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
