Hello Friends

I am finally feeling more like 'myself'. This past week I pitched in and started Spring cleaning a bit early. I put all of my post op aids away in the garage, with the exception of my sock aid, grabber, and my toilet seat riser (I think I might keep that for good).
The stiffness I was experiencing is gone and I have resumed PT. As I was walking into the PT clinic the other day, one of the therapists I have worked with sporadically when my therapist is not there, was walking in at the same time. She said, "Wow, your gait is so much better! Way to go". That was really nice to hear.
I am catching up on everybody's threads and look forward to seeing what you all have been up to.
@Cynthia777, I hope you are feeling good, friend.
@Hipster Girl, I hope work has been going better and that your applications/interviews are bringing positive results!
I LOLd about you and your co-workers scaring the men folk. We scare ourselves sometimes.
@Miss Muffet, oh I so understand those hormonal swings. No fun! I agree with your wish to just be fun, lovely, and nice again without the phases of crankiness.
@Shazzstars, hello and thank you for the encouragement!

I've heard the foam roller can be quite painful. I hope Wednesday went well for you. It is a process getting through this recovery stage...but so worth it.
@Readysetgo, your second surgery is coming up soon! I am very excited for you and am sending tons of good vibes your way. You've got this, friend.
@Arlene56, I'm adding my good wishes to the ones you've already gotten. You're going to do great and will be so happy with the outcome. I look forward to reading your recovery thread.
@CricketHip, hello my friend! I hope all is good with you. My PT is thrilled with the strides in the way my muscles are responding to the roller.

Every time she massages me now she says she can feel the tightness getting less and less. Thank you again for this great tip!
I hope everybody is having a lovely weekend and that you're feeling good. Big Hugs, y'all.
