@Cynthia777, I hope your rash clears up soon. I'm glad it's not horribly itchy, but anything nagging like that can be so irritating. Get that tuna melt, girl!
@Hip Hip Hooray! I am going to go back and read my thread. It's amazing how much I've already forgotten. I had somebody ask me something specific about the process just last week and I honestly couldn't remember.
When I was going through it, everything seemed so big and vital. It's interesting how time...even a little bit of it...can change our perspective.
I went to my OS today for a follow up. He is very pleased with my progress.
He seems to always have an intern shadowing him and he told the one today that he really wishes he had taken video of me walking prior to surgery. He said the difference is truly astounding. That was great to hear.
He was happy with the progress in my gait. He encouraged me to keep going to out patient PT as he said the improvement in my strength, ROM, and flexibility is very noticeable. I was so pleased with that, especially since the first phase of PT was mostly about strengthening. I feel confident moving forward to more ROM and flexibility specific exercises now.
He said that unless I had concerns, he wouldn't need to see me back until September.
All in all, it was a really great check up and a very pleasant day!

I am so thrilled for your wonderful OS visit! I bet you are, too! I was waiting to hear how it went for you. You are such an inspiration! You've worked so hard on your progress and it has paid off big time. Keep up the good work!
