Best wishes for February, Sue. I hope the revision fixes the problems.
We'll be here for you, as always.

I had my pre-op on Wednesday 20th Jan. Bit of a hectic time, a close family death on Christmas Day, funeral Monday 25th Jan.
Haematology consultation Monday 18th Jan, CT scan (end of treatment for FNHL) Friday 29th Jan, final Rituximab 1st Feb.
Revision surgery 16th February.

Thank you @Pumpkln I hope so. I'm rather nervous, I hoped to be striding out after my long Lymphoma treatment but it's not to be, just yet.
Thank you for changing me to Revision.

Glad to change the prefix for you.
Hopefully you will be striding by this time next year. :walking:

Hi Sue

So sorry to read of your recent family loss. Just to let you know you're in my thoughts xxx

Love Ann xx

@Nana moon 27 thank you.
We laid my brother to rest today.
I have my end of treatment CT scan on Friday 29th and last treatment on Monday 1st.
Everything comes at once.

I'm sorry about your brother, Sue. :console2:

Best wishes for the scan and the last treatment.

It won't be long now until your knee revision is done.

Oh Sue

My thoughts and prayers are with you. That's so sad to hear about your brother. I hope the ceremony went as ok as these things do. My husband lost his sister to breast cancer when she was 38 and his eldest brother a year ago last Boxing Day. A couple of weeks before we went away over Christmas his niece died in tragic circumstances at 24 yrs old. It's so sad and hard for people losing loved ones, expected or not.

It's strange how life events and appointments seem to cluster together. I hope all goes well for you with them Sue. I'm don't always post but I do check in now and again.

Please take care
Love Ann xxx

@Nana moon 27 thank you and I'm so sad for all your family bereavements, young lives taken are such a loss. We had a lovely funeral service for my brother, it was truly personal.
I'm very anxious about the revision but today I received the wonderful news that for the moment I have no lymphoma, my end of treatment scan after 2 1/2 years was clear. Isn't that fantastic news! I do feel I've stepped off one merry go round though and straight onto another.:fingersx:

@Pumpkln
Thank you for asking after me.
I was first into theatre on 16th at about 8.40am and came round in recovery at about 12.25pm. I had a night booked in HDU but I didn't need it. I had 3 nights on a ward and was out on Friday 19th, sooner than I expected. I had both components replaced with a revision joint with long stems and a spacer 2 1/2 times the size of the one in my primary. Everything seems to have gone well; I had a slight hiccup with whole leg swelling the weekend after coming out, had a scan for a DVT but it was negative, I had a few temp spikes but they seem to have settled.
On Monday I had my clips out....27 little bee stings! Yesterday I went to physio which was mostly a review....70 degrees of flexion -5 extension. I'm booked into a knee class for about 6 weeks starting next week in the gym at the hospital, just gentle exercises on beds as far as I know. No-one has pushed anything and everyone has mentioned icing and elevating that I'm doing most of the time.
I'm on strong pain meds and resting all the time, sleeping well, eating not so well, little appetite but trying small nutritious meals.
I'm hopeful. :chillpill:

Dabber,
Thanks for the update, I am glad to hear you are doing well, swelling and a slight temperature are normal after surgery.
Following the Bonesmart mantra and gentle exercise and activity will get you there. :walking:

I'm glad to hear it's going well, Sue. rest, ice, elevate and medicate on time, and you'll continue to progress well.

Do let us know if you'd like us to post the mantras and recovery reading list again, won't you?

Hi Sue

So pleased you're doing okay. I really hope that this will help, you've been so brave with everything you've faced medically. You're a wonderful model of positivity overcoming everything that you have. Just rest now and get yourself well and fit. Sending you a (((big hug)))

Will pop in soon and check your progress.

Love Ann xxx
