Hello friends, I never did have that ice-cream, we did try but the queue was enormous so we'll go when the children return to school after the Easter break.
I don't have the scan results as yet, but they did say 2 weeks as they have to be seen by a doctor. I know my CNS will phone through as soon as they have them, they've been so good.
I'm regaining a little energy albeit very slowly, still very dizzy and tired.
My knee, well, it's been left to it's own devices from 3 1/2 months out of TKR, it still has the same ROM, it swells a bit, can hurt a bit, but the whole leg was the limb badly affected by the lymph node swelling in the groin. I still do daily heparin injections, boy will I be glad to finish those! Same injections one does for 2 weeks post op.....been doing them now since mid-October.
I'm good in spirits and looking forward to seeing all 5 grandchildren here tomorrow for an Easter Egg hunt and then a potluck lunch.
Still reading threads from time to time and in and out of the social room.

You sound so good. I hope that your tomorrow will be fun with the grandchildren. Remember one step at a time with that knee. It is already better than it was before and the fact that it stayed at the same rom is good.

Well I spoke too soon 
We had a nice Easter Day and I didn't do a lot but by 4pm was completely exhaused and my leg swelled up. At first I thought KNEE!!! what are you up, to then realised it was a general swelling so I iced and spent the rest of the day lying down, same this morning with the addition of compression hose.....then felt better after an afternoon nap.
The grandchildren left me some plastic spiders to find in the bedroom.
