Woke up feeling good but yes I am sore all over from my fall. I am back to using the walker I was just not coordinated enough to use the crutches. Now I think people in my oncoming path will be safe
not so sure if I ever get on a bicycle again
they did not give me any to bring home
I start physio at the hospital close by next Wednesday.
Have a wonderful day. Sending hugs your way
Iam doing great with my meds just need the heavy stuff for nighttime and morning & occasionally one during the day but pretty good most of the time. After the fall I could have taken a box full
LOL. I cannot wait to be able to get out again and into my photography.I miss squatting down so much to get that best shot. This will work one way by making me work on my website I never had time for until now. Once I get organised I will send u a link or put in my signature.
Love and hugs

one with our new knees we will be able to enjoy more fully.
Shall we all go out shopping and have a coffee? That would be fantastic for all of our BS friends a good get together

Once the cool weather kicks in it will be much better.

My staples are out now too and like you my knee feels a little freer. I overdid it a bit yesterday...wandered down to the 'joint ward' while we were at the hospital to say thanks to the nursing staff...even walked to the little cafe near the ward to pick up a coffee...feeling quite pleased with myself came home iced rested etc...but it was all too much and last night new knee was very unhappy.
Guess I will keep getting these painful lessons until I learn how much is too much.

It is The beginning of March here and the year we arrived in '70 it was 42C so hot hot hot. Today we have the air-conditioner going it is 38C so still over 100F. I am looking forward to Autumn the parks are always beautiful.
It is so great to know life is on the up and up and I know it is far from over but I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I am just enjoying the good while I can.
Have a great day!!!
Hi Chinook, I am pleased that your staple removal went well. Sorry to hear your MS is having a tantrum, hope it gives you a break soon. You could really do without that.
I am Scottish but live in the South of England.
Sounds like you have good family support, do they live close by?
I have one grandchild who is 4 and another one who is a work in progress. They are such a joy and a delight.
I hope to be joining you on the recovery side very soon, scheduled for Saturday but I have been warned a last minute cancellation is a possibility due to lack of beds. Might just have to take my own,
Hope you are having a good day,
Sending a hug,

Good luck
Take your own and set up in the corridor
might work LOL.

Hi Lillian, I just caught up on your thread. I guess you didn't get the bulletin but falling is strictly forbidden Bonesmart members. Now you know and that won't be happening again. It sounds like you're doing great actually. This early recovery is a rough business but it really does move right along with little accomplishments each day. Slow but sure wins the race, as my dad used to say.![]()
