Chinook is still in hospital and hopes to be home on the weekend :dancy: :spin:She has not been able to post on her lap top due to computer problems.She says thank you I love you all and will post soon.. :thankyou:
 
Tell Chinook we miss her and want to hear all about her adventure! Thanks for posting an update I had been thinking about her!
 
I agree...pass on some BoneSmartie ((((HUGS)))) and tell her we're waiting to hear from her. Hope things progress well and the big homecoming comes soon.

Hey Chinook :angel: so nice to hear that you are okay...I have been watching hoping you would chexk in soon . MY phone went flat and when I has organized my charger....big storm over on my side of the island...suddenly here you are. When you get home you will be able to have a nuce chat. Hope your hospital stay was okay...mine thankfully was short but good...lots of caring staff who worked with mw to find a pain management plan that works...darn battery in not charging urrrgh

Hello to all my Bonesmart friends. I will go back through and name you tomorrow.:angel: It really dd give me a lift :yay:.I was so sad I could not use my computer in hospital. It has been along tiring day since I woke this morning, came home to be welcomed by my beautiful dogs David said they really missed me but of course he did not tell me while I was in:puppysmooze:. I am now tired and sore and will try and get comfortable soon in bed.:groan:
I will go through my recovery with you tomorrow morning and catch up and read up on how you are all doing/

I have missed you all. I have a lot of questions:headbang:

It's so good to know that you are 'home' seems to help heaps to be able to sleep in our own familiar environment. I know what you mean about the laptop I used my phone in hospital and up until today but my eyes have been acting a bit weird since the op and focusing was not easy...lots of typos :yes: but at it was good to know when I logged on all our BS friends we out there listening.

Lots of fun input from the little Jedi about my new new bionic knee.
Dad Gami will come and break me out of prison if I get put there for not eating my dinner....Have you trained it yet....Does it have an ff/on switch...can I switch it for you

Thankfully my nausea settled when I went off the morphine and the advice about getting my bowels working has all finally done the trick and I am a lot more comfortable. :yawn: Comfortable but still not a lot of uninterrupted sleep but because of this forum I KNOW that it's all normal and I will just deal with it. :friends:

I look forward to chatting with you when you are feeling a little more relaxed.... :flwrysmile:
 
Hey chinook! And Gami! Glad to see you two are safEly home and able to rest in your own environment. Early days yet but it a very precious time to just focus on taking carme of yourself and practicing patience. As long as you remember that it takes time, you will be satisfied with the daily progress however small. That's how I've experienced it. My partner had TKR Jan 23 and is having the same experience. She calls it " halcyon days" which I think means happy and idyllic. Go figure.

So happy to see you are here. Hows things going with you? Will have to go through your posts and see what I have missed. I had a rotten night last night my first since I got home from hospital. Will post it all in one post in a little while:), I need to get on the main computer, laptops and me don't get on too good. My coordination messes up :what: grrrr
